Although Ryan is fairly new to instrument building, he represents a lot of great
experience.
Ryan is the son of an incredible wood worker and teacher. Through his life as a
child and adolescent, Ryan has observed some wonderful wood-working skills. Along
with this, he has researched the essential elements that make a great instrument
work.
After spending many hours playing a variety of high-end instruments, Ryan has developed
his own combination ideas of what makes a desirable instrument. Most of the instruments
in the pictures contained on this site are ones that were commissioned and are already
sold. These are representative of Ryan’s particular building style, and can be considerations
when designing your bass or guitar.
If you are interested in having Ryan build you your own custom piece, please email
him and personal design elements can be discussed.
For pricing, you can expect the following for a quote:
- Bolt-on guitar or bass: $600 labor plus materials and delivery
- Neck-thru guitar or bass: $1500 labor plus materials and delivery (fret install
is an extra $300)
- Custom Inlay: $100 and up
With Ryan’s experiences parts and wood end up being between $750 and $1000, depending
on what sort of items that you would like to include.
With all of this being said, Ryan is a small-business man and builds his custom
works on a very small scale. Every work is a one-of-a-kind and is treated with great
respect. Attention to detail is the greatest concern for each project, and the customer’s
vision is always in mind. Ryan is greatful for every project that he gets to do,
and is fully dedicated to customer service.
